The Pirate Ship 4: Cell Phones and Chargers

As the sky begins to darken, Sketch realizes how hungry she really is. Now that she thinks about it, she hasn't eaten anything all day. With stomache rumbling, Sketch heads toward the nearest town and finds a nice little food shack and picks up some strange sort of seafood and takes it back to the house to enjoy. Before entering, she made sure to leave a large amount of Dragon Chow for Zahir. "You look like a mess." Sketch said to her dragon while scratching his sand and salty covered mane. Running her fingers through her own hair she said " And the funny thing is, I don't look any better!" Not bothering to knock, she entered the house and found the nearest place to sit and began munching down on her delicious seafood treat.

Zew: " your a mess, the bathroom is around the corner. I'll run you a bath. The watter system is all on a pump except the tolits. I'll pump the water from the well and light the fire beneth the tub to warm the watter. It's the least i can do for guests*

*Zew draws the bath and then goes to help Taku and Renée set the table and finish cooking.*

Renée: "I see sketch has allready eaten but i'll set her a plate anyway. And Where's fats!"

*Fats runs in*

Fats:"CHOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!"

Zew:"Well, that answers your question"

*they laugh and Renée and Zew play with fats*

Taku:"Hey Zet, How's the stew... I could use some help with the desert."

Zet:"I'm practicly done, it just has to simmer. What do you need help with."

*they finish the Perfectly round 4' tall cake and put a Cobalt Blue Kidder at the top with words "Happy 19th birthday Taku and Fats."*

Taku:"wow, i never though I'd ever make my own birthday cake."

Zet:"It's the royal family tradition. You make your own dream cake. That thing looks better then what any bakery around here could do."

Taku:"thanks, but don't speak too loud, I want to supprise fats."

*Everybody is called to the dinner table. (They don't celebrate birthday's of people, but there pets. Kidders are as smart as us you know). They start to talk over the dinner table.*

(Begin Conversation)

Taku:"So it's FAt's birthday today"


Renée:"Fats and Taku, the same age. How sweet."

Walks into the room where all the activity is with hair still wet from the bath, only pulled back into a single tight braid. "Thank you very much, the water was just right! Something smells delicious, what's all the comotion about?"

Taku: "it's fat's and my birthday. Were just starting dinner if you'd like some stew."

Zew:"Taku made it so it must be awsome!"

*Zew smiles at Sketch*

Taku:"here we don't really celebrate the birthday's of people. Mostly if your Genomes like me, or Zew here. Our ancestors were genomes and guess what. Almost everybody here is pure Genome ancestory. They didn't celebrate birthday's because there really wasn't a set date they were told. Just a month. So they picked a date. The didn't really celebrate it but they did at least bake a cake. They celebrated there pets though because they were native to this place."

Poitely returns the smile to Zew and takes a seat. "That's really interesting! And it makes since too! But it's to me that you wouldn't know the exact birth date. I guess I'll have some of this stew, just to see how it tastes, I don't quite recall ever having food made by Taku before!." Sketch looks at the pet and sais "Happy birthday Fat's, and you too Taku."
